MS Excel - Page Layout Tab

 Page Layout Tab

Theme, Page Setup, Scale to Fit, Sheet Options are used to arrange Workbook, Worksheet in MS Excel through Page Layout Tab. Through this, Page Setup, Page Border, Page Color, Margins Settings and Background can be set in the sheet of MS Excel.

Page Layout Tab can be displayed by pressing Alt+P button.

Page Layout Tab is mainly divided into 5 parts -

Theme Group

Through Theme Group, you can set Colors, Font and Effect together with all the Worksheets of Workbook.

Themes

On clicking the Themes option, some pre-made designs which contain Colors, Font and Effect. By selecting them, they can be applied in the entire sheet.

Page Setup Group

Through this option, we can set page margin, orientation, page size, page background, print area etc.

Margins

Through this option, we can set Top, Bottom, Right, Left Margins in the pages of the worksheet. In this some formats of margin are already saved like - Normal Margins, Wide Margins, Narrow Margins.

Orientation

Through this option, we can change the orientation of the page to Portrait Orientation and Landscape Page Orientation.

Size

Using this option, we can set the page size of Microsoft excel. Like - A4, A5, Letter, Legal, A6, B5, Executive etc.

Print Area

This is an important option that we can use in Microsoft Excel, by using the Print Area option, we can print only a certain part. For example, if I have a database of 10 columns and 10 rows, but I want to print only 5 columns and 5 rows, in that case we use the Print Area option.

Print Area To use this option, we must first select the area we want to print, after selecting, select the Print Area option, after which print, by doing this only the selected area will be printed.

Breaks

Through this option we can break the page. The page break option will move to another page from the cell which is selected and applied.

Background

Through this option, we can change the background of the worksheet (page) of MS Excel.

Print Titles

Using this option in MS Excel, we can print the title of our database in every single page, for this first of all select the database, after selecting select Print Titles option and print the database. As we will print the database, you will see that the heading of the database will appear in the print on all the pages.

Scale to Fit Group

 Through the Scale to Fit group, we are used to set the database in Microsoft Excel to one page, that is, when there is more data in our page than the page, it starts getting cut off in the print but you want that all If the data comes in the same page, then we will have to reduce its scale by 100 percent so that all your data will come in the same page.

Sheet Options Group 

 This option is used to Hide and Show Gridlines, Headings in Microsoft Excel. As you know, the worksheet is made up of electronic lines which we call Gridlines and Headings we know as A, B, C, D, E, F which we can Hide and Show.

Arrange Group

Arrange Group Through this option, we can move any Picture, Image or text back and forth in Microsoft Excel, for which we have options available in this group.

Bring to Front

Bring to Front option is used to bring a picture to the top in MS Excel.

Send to Back

Send to Back option is used to bring down a picture in MS Excel.

Align

Through this option, Microsoft Excel is used to set the alignment of the text like - Left, Right, Center, Top, Middle, Bottom.

Group

This option is used in MS Excel to group more than one object, that is, to link one or more pictures or images together.

Selection Pane

This option is used to show and hide objects in Microsoft Excel.

Rotate

This option is used to rotate any object in Microsoft Excel.
